Modern snowmaking systems at the Hempelsberg lift enable comprehensive snow coverage in a very short time. In approximately 80 hours, a 50 cm snow layer can be produced across the entire slope. Snow-covered slopes are available from around December to March. At the Geiersberg lift, there is no snowmaking, so natural snow is required.
