The Heavenly ski resort is an ideal area for beginners, as most of the ski lifts are connected to easy and wide slopes. Beginners can explore almost the entire ski area on easy slopes. In addition, there are several beginner zones called "Learn to Ride" at the base stations Boulder Lodge and California Lodge, as well as at the mountain stations of the Heavenly Gondola and the Aerial Tramway. The Heavenly Ski & Ride School offers lessons for all age groups.
