In Dorfgastein, beginners can start with the ski schools in the valley and practice at the Rauchleiten platter lift. Blue slopes lead from Fulseck all the way down to the valley station in Dorfgastein.
In Großarl, the Erlebniswiese Fischbacher is freely accessible. A conveyor belt and a platter lift are ideal for practicing. A ski school is also available in Großarl. In the ski area, beginners can take the slopes from Kreuzkogel down to the valley on blue runs. The Kreuzhöhe platter lift at the top of the ski area is ideal for practicing.
The connection from Großarl to Dorfgastein is possible on easy slopes. However, to return, you have to take intermediate slopes.
