100 percent of the required energy is sourced from green electricity. The Hüttenkopfbahn is the world’s first photovoltaic chairlift, generating one third of its energy needs from solar power. With this advanced solution, Doppelmayr sets another milestone in modern cable car technology and takes an important step towards a sustainable future. Public transport by ski bus and train is promoted through partnerships and special offers. E-charging stations for electric cars are available at the valley station in Vandans and at the mid-station in Latschau. Snowmaking is controlled according to need through snow depth measurement. The gastronomy focuses on regional products. Protected and conservation zones for animals and plants are clearly marked. Golm is a climate-neutral ski area. CO₂ emissions that cannot be avoided are offset through aid projects.
