The Fonna Glacier Ski Resort is one of the well-known summer ski areas in Europe. From the mountain station on the Folgefonna Glacier, you can enjoy spectacular views over the Hardanger Fjord and the glacier, and, on clear days, even as far as the North Sea. The winter sports area offers various slopes for skiing and a freestyle park. There are also opportunities for cross-country skiing.
