Instead of the aerial ride over the Rhine, Feldis (Romansh: Veulden) can also be reached by post bus or by private car via the mountain road from Rothenbrunnen through Scheid.

The Feldis winter sports area offers two practice lifts for your first steps on snow. A chairlift provides access to the main slopes, which are reserved for advanced winter sports enthusiasts. While skiing on the local mountain, Mutta (1,966 m), winter sports enthusiasts are treated to an impressive panorama.

In addition to skiing and snowboarding, the winter sports area on the Stätzerhorn ridge high above the Rhine also offers winter hiking trails and snowshoe trails, a cross-country ski trail, and toboggan runs.
