The Fanningberg ski area is very well suited for beginners. After starting out on the ski school conveyor belts, there are 2 practice lifts (drag lifts) with gentle slopes available. Several easy slopes also lead down to the valley from the chairlifts. All the slopes are wide and very well groomed.
