For skiing and snowboarding, there are 5 km of slopes available. 2 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 980 and 1,280 m.
The El Fraile ski area can be reached in about 40 minutes by car from Coyhaique. It offers slopes of various difficulty levels, a snowpark, and off-piste runs. Important: access to the ski area is only possible from 8 am to 2 pm, and departure is only allowed from 2:30 pm onwards.
