Damüls Mellau is the largest ski resort located entirely within the Bregenzerwald. The two villages, Damüls and Mellau, are connected by an integrated network of ski runs and lifts. Notable mountains in the ski area include the Damülser Mittagspitze (2,095 m), Portlahorn (2,010 m), Ragazer Blanken (2,051 m), Hochblanken (2,068 m), Hohe Licht (2,009 m), Elsenkopf (1,940 m), and Wildgunten (1,705 m).
