Beginners Damüls Mellau

Beginners are very well taken care of in the ski area. In Damüls and Mellau, practice lifts, conveyor belts, and ski schools are available, making it especially easy to get started with skiing fun.

In Damüls, there are easy slopes at the Ugabahn as well as at Hohes Licht. This allows beginners to ski down gentle slopes from over 2,000 meters in altitude all the way to the valley in Damüls. The slopes at Oberdamüls and Furka are also suitable for beginners, although they are not directly connected to the other easy slopes.

At the Rossstelle in Mellau, the practice lift “Easy Cheesy” as well as the Rossstelle and Wildgunten chairlifts provide access to easy slopes. The six-seater chairlift Suttis and the valley run to Mellau, on the other hand, are not recommended for beginners.

You can get from Mellau to Damüls via easy slopes. The return to Mellau is also possible on simple slopes. However, the run along the Gipfelbahn through the ski tunnel is not suitable for beginners. Instead, you can comfortably take the Gipfelbahn down to the Rossstelle.
