Access, Parking Christlum – Achenkirch
The Christlum ski area is located near Achenkirch at the northern end of Lake Achensee, the largest lake in Tyrol. Munich is only about 75 minutes away, Innsbruck about 50 minutes. If you are coming from Munich, the usual route is via the A8 Munich-Salzburg motorway, exit Holzkirchen. Traveling through the Tegernseer Tal (Tegernsee-Achenpass) or via Bad Tölz (Lenggries-Sylvensteinspeicher) allows you to reach the area without an Austrian motorway vignette. From the Inntal motorway in Austria, the ski area is quickly accessible via the Wiesing/Achensee/Zillertal exit. There are plenty of free parking spaces available at the valley station.
