There are no cross-country trails directly in the ski resort of Cardrona. On the other side of the mountain from Cardrona, there is the Snowfarm NZ cross-country centre. From the village of Cardrona, the road leads up to the ski resort and up to the cross-country area on the other side. The ski resort of Cardrona and the Snowfarm NZ cross-country trails are around 26 kilometres/45 minutes’ drive apart. At the Snowfarm NZ, there are 55 kilometres of cross-country trails for beginners all the way to experienced cross-country skiers and top athletes. The altitude of 1,600 metres means the cross-country trails are very snow-reliable.
