Cardrona is perfect for beginners. In the base area, there are practice slopes with magic carpets. The McDougall's Express Chondola provides access to very easy and wide slopes. Advanced beginners can also enjoy the easy to intermediate slopes (marked blue) at the Whitestar Express Quad, Captain's Express Quad, and Valley View Quad. The Snow Sports School offers lessons for all age groups as well as private lessons.
