Access, Parking Cardrona
The Cardrona ski resort is located on the South Island of New Zealand. It lies between Queenstown and Wanaka. In the small town of Cardrona, a steep and unpaved mountain road branches off up to the ski resort. After about 8 kilometers, you reach the limited parking spaces at the Valley View Quad. From the valley, it is about 14 kilometers to the Base Area Cardrona, where there is ample parking. There are various parking lots directly by the slopes or a short walk from the Base Area. If you park further down, there are free shuttle buses to the Base Area. The drop-off zones at the Base Area are very popular with families. It is strongly recommended to bring snow chains.
