The small ski area of Risovac is located in the Blidinje National Park, between the 2,074 m high Vran Mountain and the 2,228 m high Cvrsnica Mountain. Just below the ski area lies the picturesque Blidinje Lake at 1,184 m. The nature park was only established in 1995. In 2001, the new Risovac I four-seater chairlift was opened, providing access to a moderately difficult and wide forest clearing run. On the right side, there is the Poma platter lift Vucnica, which also serves a moderately difficult forest clearing run. All the slopes end back at the chairlift and the platter lift. An easy connecting slope leads from the platter lift to run no. 1. Slightly below the chairlift, there is the short Mala practice lift, which serves an easy slope for beginners.

Towering rock formations rise above the ski area, giving the rather simple terrain a somewhat more alpine feel. At the foot of the slopes, you can stop for a meal or end your ski day at the Zicara restaurant. The nearest hotels are located at Blidinje Lake, a few kilometers down the road. Further expansion of the ski area and new hotels are planned for the future.
