Gastronomy (ski huts, restaurants, eating at the ski resort) Berwang/Bichlbach/Rinnen
The offerings in the Berwang/Bichlbach/Rinnen ski area may not be extensive, but they are definitely worth a culinary discovery tour on skis. The range extends from a sun-drenched log cabin hut with self-service to a ski lunch in ski boots and cozy ski lodges. And it always remains warm, family-friendly, and well done.

Gastronomy tip
Kögele Hütte
At Rastkopf at 1,520 m, somewhat secluded on the descent to Rinnen
Small kitchen, big flavor: At Kögele Hütte, everything is freshly cooked. In addition to mountain hut classics like goulash soup, you'll find a constantly changing selection of hearty dishes that are listed outside on a chalkboard. The journey is well worth it, as the secluded location and the hut itself are both beautiful.
Das View - the Pop-Up
At the Egghof Sun Jet mountain station at 1,450 m
At "The View," you can stop by at any time of day. For a traditional morning snack, Weißwürste are served, and throughout the day there is a wide selection of soups, schnitzel, tarte flambée, pasta, and raclette. The wine selection is impressive. A large sun terrace and après-ski bar complete the offering.
Mountain hut tip
Heiterwanger Hochalm
On the Almkopf, directly below the Almkopfbahn and next to the Sonnalmbahn at 1610 m
The Heiterwanger Hochalm has that Canadian log cabin charm, which the host has also made his own: rustic, mischievous, and straightforward. The Hochalm is a self-service restaurant with a wonderful sun terrace in a beautiful panoramic south-facing location. Many guests order pizza. For those in the know: Kaiserschmarrn. And for the brave: Jagatee.
