The Belalp is a paradise for children, as demonstrated by the “Family Destination” label awarded by the Swiss Tourism Office. The winter facilities are tailored specially to families. The free of charge Hexenland (Witches’ Land) caters to every wish. There is also a winter playground, various fun pistes and a funslope for children. No cars are permitted in Belalp and the only access is by gondola lift. Special family offers add the finishing touch.

Hexenland

The Hexenland (Witches’ Land) is located at the Chiematte mountain station and can be accessed easily by the gondola lift from Blatten. As well as moving carpets and a tow lift, the attractions also include a tubing run, a slide and a bouncy castle. It is an ideal place for children, The Hexenland can be used free of charge. A donation to the lift operator can be made if you wish.

The Schneekringel funslope is located at the Kelchbach 4-person chairlift and is great fun for the whole family. It takes you over wave runs, steep turns and sound boxes down to Chiematte.
