Beginners Balderschwang – Hochschelpen/Riedberger Horn

Beginners are in good hands in Balderschwang. Right in the village, a drag lift and a platter lift (Gschwendlifte) operate with easy and wide slopes. At the valley station of the Schelpenbahn, there is the beginners’ lift Höfelealp. Beginners can also take the four-seater chairlift up to the Schelpen and enjoy the long family run down to the valley station. The Hochschelpenlift is also ideal for beginners and offers several easy slopes in the upper part of the ski area. At the valley station of the Riedberger Horn, beginners are well catered for with three practice lifts. However, the summit of the Riedberger Horn and the connection to the Schelpen are off-limits for beginners.
