The Angertal ski center offers an outstanding beginner area. In the huge practice area "XXL Gasti Schneepark," there are 4 covered conveyor belts, a drag lift, easy slopes, practice courses, and ski lessons available at additional conveyor belts. Around the Angertal ski center and on the Schlossalm, there are numerous easy slopes that are interconnected. The valley run from Schlossalm to Bad Hofgastein is of intermediate difficulty, as is the connection between Stubnerkogel and the Angertal ski center. At the valley station in Bad Gastein, there is another beginner area (Bucheben). From Stubnerkogel, an easy valley run leads down to Bad Gastein.
