Later in the day, when you enter the number of your ski pass online at www.skiline.cc or by using the Skiline app, you can get a precise read-out of how many kilometers and vertical meters you have skied. We are now adding to this system with a Skimovie feature available at the Haitzingalm training piste on the Schlossalm (H4). New Glocknerblick viewing platform
A trip to the peak of the Stubnerkogel is always worth it: next to the 140m long suspension bridge that sways gently in the wind, there is a new, attractive viewing platform with the fitting name, "Glocknerblick" (Glockner View)."The enthusiastic reactions from the guests on the suspension bridge was what gave us the idea to add yet another attraction on the panoramic Stubnerkogel mountain", reported the Bergbahn (mountain lift company) chairman, Franz Schafflinger. The viewing platform should be completed as of July. It will offer all visitors who make it up here a fantastic view of Austria's highest mountain, the Grossglockner (3798m).
The diameter of the circular viewing platform is 7 metres. It is built mainly out of steel and wood. The sides of the platform are secured with a see-through wire mesh fence. The section that protrudes over the cliff features a glass opening in the floor that enables a clear view into the abyss.
