Access, Parking Aspen Mountain
Aspen is easily accessible via well-developed roads from Highway 70. Unfortunately, there is no parking available at the Silver Queen Gondola. However, you can park for free at Buttermilk Mountain and take the complimentary shuttle bus to Aspen. Due to its proximity to Aspen, most guests arrive on foot or use the hotel shuttle buses.

Winter Closure
Highway 82 to Twin Lake via Independence Pass is closed in winter. Aspen can only be reached in winter via Basalt and Glenwood Springs (Highway 70).
