Aspen Highlands is a paradise for advanced skiers. In Temerity (with the extreme runs Canopy Cruise, South Castle, Hyde Park), Steeplechase (with the extreme runs Kessler's, Soddbuster, Garmisch, St. Moritz, Boomerang Woods), and in the Olympic Bowl, there are many extremely difficult slopes. The Highland Bowl can be reached on foot or by snowcat. Here, you will find almost 20 more extremely challenging runs. Even in the lower part of the ski area, you will repeatedly encounter very difficult descents.
