Access, Parking Ankogel – Mallnitz

The Ankogel ski resort is located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park region. Access to the Ankogel high mountain cable cars is possible via Spittal an der Drau (Tauern Motorway), Lienz (from the north via the Felbertauern Tunnel), or the ÖBB Tauernschleuse Böckstein-Mallnitz. The Tauernbahn car shuttle usually runs hourly and operates between Böckstein in the Gastein Valley and Mallnitz. From the village of Mallnitz, it is about 3 km to the valley station of the Ankogelbahn in the idyllic Seebachtal. Parking at the valley station is free of charge.
