The Amirsoy Mountain Resort is located about 65 km as the crow flies from Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. Modern lift systems provide access to ski runs of varying difficulty levels. At the base station, there are chalets, restaurants, and other services such as a ski school and rental shop. Since 2021, a 10-person gondola has shortened the journey on the mountain road by about 7 km and 300 meters in elevation, so the area around the chalets is almost free of car traffic.
