Local mobility without a car is strongly promoted. At the valley station of the 8-seater chairlift Schwarzeck, a solar power system covering 240 m² generates electricity for several drag lifts in the Almenwelt. A photovoltaic system at Loderbichl also generates electricity.

  • The ski bus, running every half hour, takes guests from most accommodation providers in the towns of Lofer, St. Martin, and Unken to the valley station of the Loferer Almbahn I. With a valid ski pass, you can also use the regular bus from Weißbach to Lofer or from Lofer to Waidring (Steinplatte) free of charge. Free ski buses run from the districts of Au, Scheffsnoth, and Bachwinkl to the Loferer Almbahn I valley station.
