The best location, right next to the gondola lift to the Heavenly ski area and directly in Heavenly Village with many restaurants and shops. You leave the hotel, pick up your skis from the friendly lady at the ski room, and just a few steps further you board the gondola, which takes you directly to the ski area. The spacious rooms are all modern and brightly furnished. The 2-bedroom suites feature a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer, as well as a whirlpool tub. After sporting activities, a year-round heated outdoor pool, children's pool, and three hot whirlpools invite you to relax. After skiing, you can end your day by the open fire in front of Fire + Ice. The Fire + Ice restaurant offers hot stone meals and is very popular, as you can find healthy and delicious food there at good prices. You won't need your car during your entire stay; it is parked directly at the hotel for $19, and if you do want to go on an excursion, just call and your car will be brought to you.
The casinos are just a short walk across the Stateline into Nevada.
