The ski resort is very concerned about the environment. The electricity used to power the lifts and snow-making equipment is 100% derived from renewable energy sources. The grooming machines have a snow depth measurement function. As well as ensuring optimum care of the slopes, this also allows efficient and resource-saving snow management. Visitors are made aware of restricted forest areas. Electric cars and e-bikes can be charged for free at the base station in Waidring.
