Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Zillertal Arena – Zell am Ziller/​Gerlos/​Königsleiten/​Hochkrimml

Königsleiten is the place for freeriders. Around the Königsleitenspitze, there are numerous deep-snow slopes. In the Wilde Krimml area and towards the Kapaunsbahn, there are also many wide slopes. Numerous challenging slopes throughout the Zillertal Arena attract advanced skiers. Particularly interesting are the black slopes at the Falschbachbahn as well as the black valley run to Zell am Ziller. The valley run to Zell am Ziller is part of the Höhenfressertour. From the Übergangsjoch, a 10 km long slope with a vertical drop of 1,920 meters leads continuously down to Zell am Ziller. The longest valley run in Austria is classified as black from the Wiesenalm.
