The new 10-seater Stuanmandl gondola lift provides more capacity and comfort on the Isskogel. This high-performance lift features heated seats and reduces travel time on the important connecting route in the Zillertal Arena by about half.
Construction of the new lift system by Doppelmayr took two summers. It was put into operation for the 2019/20 winter season. The route of the new Stuanmandlbahn is slightly shifted and somewhat longer compared to its predecessor, the Stoanmandl 4-seater chairlift.
On the route from Gerlos to Isskogel, the Stuanmandlbahn is the third lift in a row, following the Dorfbahn Gerlos I and the Dorfbahn Gerlos II, and is therefore also referred to as Dorfbahn Gerlos III.
