From here, you can enjoy views all the way to the Brocken. Beginners will find many kilometers of easy slopes, while advanced skiers can let off steam on the upper section of the Hexenritt. In addition to skiing, the Wurmberg winter sports area offers a snow-covered toboggan run, a tubing area with its own lift, as well as an extensive network of cross-country trails and numerous winter hiking paths. A 6-seater gondola takes winter sports enthusiasts in two sections directly from Braunlage to the summit. Since the winter of 2013/14, the upper part of the Wurmberg ski area has also been accessible via the Hexen-Express four-seater chairlift, and the Hexenritt run offers a particularly spectacular descent.
