They do a lot for the environment in Whistler. The lifts are powered with green energy. The implementation and monitoring of sustainable initiatives such as energy conservations and waste separation are high priorities. Since 1998, Whistler Blackcomb ski resort has been presented with more than 25 awards for their environmentally friendly ski operation. Public transportation via buses is also strongly supported.
