The Whistler Blackcomb ski resort is located in the west of British Columbia. It is just over 100 km from the Pacific Ocean to Whistler. The Sea to Sky Highway takes you from Vancouver to Whistler. Parking is available at almost all base stations of the ski resort. Unfortunately, most parking lots require a fee. At the Base II station, you can park for free and access the slopes directly.
