The Weißsee Gletscherwelt offers a challenging, difficult slope and almost endless freeride and deep powder areas. In recent years, the ski area has made a name for itself in the freeride scene and has become known as a hotspot. Exciting lines such as the Saurüssel, the Olympiahang, or the Kanonenrohr make the hearts of advanced skiers beat faster. Weißsee Gletscherwelt is also known as a ski touring paradise. Short ascents and long descents characterize the area. Rewarding destinations include the Stubacher Sonnblick at 3,088 m, the Granatspitze at 3,086 m, the Hoch Eiser at 3,206 m, or the Hochfürlegg at 2,943 m.
