The Watles ski area practices gentle tourism. In the ski area, great importance is attached to gentle slope grooming and snowmaking. The huts use almost exclusively local products. An expansion of the ski area beyond the Zerzertal is currently not possible because the valley is located within the Natura 2000 protected area.
