Piz Setëur I

Since the start of the 2017/18 winter season, the two 10-seater gondola lifts Piz Setëur I and Piz Setëur II have connected the Gröden (Val Gardena) ski area with the Sellaronda. Passengers can travel both sections from the valley to the mountain station without changing lifts. With the construction of these two modern lift systems, designed in the Pininfarina style, Piz de Sella S.p.A. in Wolkenstein is setting new standards in comfort, safety, and performance.

The 10-seater gondola lift Piz Setëur I is manufactured by Leitner. In many respects, it offers the highest quality in Gröden. Especially in terms of design, the Gröden ski area will present itself in the latest look in the future: both the design of the mid-station and the cabins of the two lifts were created by the Italian design studio Pininfarina. The valley station of the lift, on the other hand, was conceived by the architectural firm Perathoner Architects.

The cabins of the 10-seater gondola lift offer significantly more interior space for passengers as well as a larger boarding area. One of the technical innovations is the station passage time, which has been slowed down to 65 seconds with 6 open cabins. This gives passengers much more time for a safe and stress-free boarding experience.

The mid-station of the two 10-seater gondola lifts Piz Setëur I and Piz Setëur II is located below the 8-seater chairlift Gran Paradiso and not far from the 6-seater chairlift Comici I. Its modern design and well-thought-out construction offer, among other things, the advantage of increased passenger comfort.
