The entire Tignes/Val d'Isère ski area is very snow-sure due to its high altitude. Almost all runs are located above 1850 meters. Good snow conditions are guaranteed from November to May. The two glaciers, Grande Motte (Tignes) and Glacier de Pissaillas (Val d'Isère), always offer the best snow conditions. All main runs can be covered with artificial snow down to the valley. In summer, even summer skiing is offered on the two glaciers.
