The ski resorts in Sälen are very family- and child-friendly. In Tandådalen and Hundfjället, there are dedicated children's areas and many easy slopes. In the children's areas, you'll find fun Valle figures, conveyor belts, and easy button lifts right next door. Highlights include the children's slope Trollskogen and the SkiStar Fun Ride. All ski lifts have separate entrances for children. The snowman Valle is always out and about in the ski area and is happy to meet lots of children.

The Trollskogen slope leads through the enchanted forest and is a highlight for all children. As you ride through the dense woods, you’ll discover tree trolls and many other figures. Right next to the valley station in Tandådalen, there is a large, separate area for families with children. Conveyor belts and platter lifts provide access to the gentle and wide slope. Fun figures complete the offer.

The children's area in Hundfjället is called Trollbäckstorget and is located right at the valley station of the Langliften. At a magic carpet, little ones can practice their first turns. Right next to it, there are two button lifts and very easy slopes. Funny figures complete the offer.
