Sun Peaks Resort offers an excellent cross-country skiing area. The groomed trails start at the end of Sun Peaks Village and at Mt. Morrisey. At Mt. Morrisey, cross-country skiers can reach the trails via the four-seater chairlift. The high-altitude trails at Mt. Morrisey (1675 m) are very snow-sure. In addition to the groomed trails, there are also 17 kilometers of backcountry trails (remote and ungroomed trail sections).
