The Sudelfeld ski area is located in the Tegernsee-Schliersee Alpine region, just under 80 km south of Munich. Most skiers coming from the Munich area take the A8 Munich-Salzburg motorway. From the Weyarn or Irschenberg exits, well-developed roads lead to Bayrischzell. In Bayrischzell, the single chairlift starts up to Mittleres Sudelfeld. Since parking options there are limited, many people take the well-developed mountain road to Unteres Sudelfeld or to the large Waldkopf-Himmelmoos parking lot. Alternatively, you can get there via the Inntal motorway A93. From the Brannenburg exit, you take the toll Sudelfeldstraße. From the Oberaudorf exit, you go via the Tatzelwurm. From the south, the Sudelfeld ski area can be reached via the Thierseetal and Landl. Thanks to the BOB-KombiTickets, a stress-free journey by train from Munich to Bayrischzell is also possible.
