Environmental friendliness of the ski resort Stöten

The ski resort of Stöten places very great emphasis on environmental protection and sustainability. Continuous efforts are made to reduce climate impacts to a minimum. Waste is separated and recycled. Very modern equipment is used to produce artificial snow on the slopes and a GPS system in the grooming machines ensures even distribution of snow. Several charging points for electric cars are available in the car park at the Stötentorget. The Fjällexpressen bus company offers environmentally friendly transport to Stöten

Stöten was part of the “Green 2020” EU project launched to make ski resorts more energy efficient and sustainable.
