Family offers/child-friendly rating Steinplatte Winklmoosalm – Waidring/Reit im Winkl
Families looking for easy slopes will feel very comfortable on the Winklmoosalm. There are many simple and wide runs, and children can be transported by rope lift, drag lift, or chairlift. On the Steinplatte, there are also many easy runs with the option to switch to steeper slopes. The Triassi Kinderland is located in the valley in the village center of Waidring. However, the practice area is not connected to the slopes of the Steinplatte Winklmoosalm ski area.
On the Steinplatte, the Triassic Funline with banked turns, wave track, snow snail with tunnel, and children's slalom offers lots of fun for the whole family. At the mountain station in Waidring, children from the age of 3 are supervised. This is also where the adventurous winter hike in the Triassic Park begins. The Kammerkör mountain inn offers a children's menu.

Triassic Funline Steinplatte
The Funline with dinosaurs is located right next to the Snowpark. The "fun slope" consists of wave tracks, banked turns, a snow snail with a tunnel, and other snow features such as small jumps, slide elements, and slalom. Fun for everyone guaranteed!
Triassic childcare
At the mountain station of the Waidring-Steinplatte gondola, excellent childcare is offered for children from 3 years of age. Parents can go skiing while the children play in the snow or do crafts and explore inside the Triassic Center. Additionally, for a small fee, parents can supervise their children themselves in the Mama/Papa Lounge. The entire Triassic Park area is a fantastic playground.
Winter hike Triassic Trail
The winter hiking trail to the viewing platform and the dripstone cave is an experience for the whole family. It starts at the mountain station of the Waidring-Steinplatte gondola in the Triassic Park.
Triassic Kinderland in Waidring
Children and beginners feel especially comfortable in the Triassic Kinderland in the village center of Waidring. The Kinderland is located right next to the Hausberglift and only about 500 meters from the valley station of the gondola lift to the Steinplatte. With a magic carpet, a rope lift, and many fun figures, it is perfectly equipped and offers ideal conditions for making the first turns in the snow. Additionally, the ski school operates another magic carpet.

Right next to Triassic Kinderland in the village center of Waidring, the Snowsports Waidring ski school operates another magic carpet. In this protected environment, children can playfully learn their first turns in the snow.
