Access, Parking Steinplatte Winklmoosalm – Waidring/Reit im Winkl
Access points to the ski area are located in Germany at Reit im Winkl-Seegatterl and in Austria at Waidring.
On the German side, the ski area is just under 30 km from the A8 Munich-Salzburg motorway and offers ample parking at the Seegatterl valley station. Thanks to the modern eight-seater gondola, you can travel quickly and comfortably from Seegatterl to the Winklmoosalm.
The drive to Waidring is quick via the Inntal motorway. No toll sticker is required when coming from Germany, and this access point is an attractive alternative to Seegatterl, especially on weekends. In Waidring, the 15-seater gondola takes you directly into the ski area. There is no valley run to Waidring. Alternatively, you can drive from Waidring to the Steinplatte mountain car park. A toll is charged for the well-developed mountain road; with a valid ski pass, the toll is waived. A piste runs directly past the mountain car park.
Access via Motorway A8 Munich-Salzburg, exit Traunstein/Siegsdorf
