The Snowplanet indoor ski area has a nice restaurant directly at the entrance with a bar and a view of the slope. There is also the Chalet, a Swiss-style cabin (reservation only).

The 7 Summits restaurant offers a good selection of food and drinks. You can sit by the fireplace and watch the slopes in a relaxed atmosphere. There is also The Chalet, which is decorated in a cosy Swiss style. It is made from 100% recycled wood from historic sites all over New Zealand and has the decor and style of a Swiss cabin. Depending on the season, The Chalet offers special menus and cheese fondues (by reservation).
