Dragon Winter Night

The Dragon Winter Night 2026 transforms the Drachental Family Park in Oberau into a very special winter evening highlight. From Thursday, January 1 to Thursday, February 26, 2026, every week from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, visitors are warmly invited to round off the evening with live music and a lively ice disco.
In the park, live music creates a cheerful atmosphere, while the alpine coaster “Drachenflitzer” offers thrilling rides through the winter night. The event is complemented by ski shows from local ski schools on selected dates, as well as culinary stalls where guests can enjoy regional specialties and hot drinks.
Admission is free, and a convenient shuttle bus connects the villages of Auffach, Oberau and Niederau, ensuring an easy and relaxed arrival and departure.
Open Faces Freeride Contest

The Open Faces Freeride Contest is coming back to Alpbachtal in 2026. It's the perfect spot for juniors and contest newbies. The best way for spectators to get to the event is via the Pöglbahn in Inneralpbach.
The programme includes a 1* competition (Freeride World Qualifier) and a 2* junior competition. The location offers ideal conditions for contest newcomers and juniors. Both contests will start at 10 a.m. near the Hornbahn 2,000 in Inneralpbach, with the award ceremony scheduled for 3 p.m.
Thanks to the large LED screen in the spectator area, everyone can watch the participants' daring jumps and clean rides closely and cheer on their favourites. Look forward to a lively atmosphere, chill music and drinks!
Lions Club Snow Festival

Experience the sun skiing festival in the heart of the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau!
Under the motto “Celebrating for a good cause”, the Lions Club invites you to a lively day right at the top station of the Schatzberg cable car.
Starting at 12:00 p.m., the well-known cover band RAT BAT BLUE will provide the perfect party atmosphere. At the snow bar, the dedicated volunteers of the Lions Club Wörgl will treat you to delicious regional specialties and refreshing drinks. For many locals and holiday guests, this festival has long been a fixed highlight in the winter calendar.
As always, all proceeds will be used to support people in need in the region.

From March 20 to March 22, 2026, Niederau will be all about celebrating the end of the season. Together with the mountain huts and restaurants in the valley, you can look forward to a weekend full of music, culinary delights, and great vibes. During the day, live bands on the mountain huts create the perfect atmosphere, and in the valley the party continues with the best après-ski fun.

From March 27 to 29, 2026, the top station of the Schatzberg cable car in Auffach will host a weekend full of music, culinary delights, and a unique atmosphere. On Saturday, look forward to the top act "ABBORN" – one of Europe’s best ABBA tribute bands – and enjoy captivating live music from local bands on Friday and Sunday.
