The Sierra at Tahoe ski resort is located right on Highway 50, about 20 minutes from South Lake Tahoe, near Echo Summit. There are plenty of parking spaces directly at the base station. In general, parking is free, but if you want to park right at the front near the lift, you have to pay extra. In case of fresh snow, winter equipment is absolutely necessary.
