Ski lifts at the ski resort Schilthorn – Mürren/Lauterbrunnen
Four consecutive aerial cableways take guests from the Stechelberg valley station via Gimmelwald, Mürren, and Birg to the summit of the 2,970 m high Schilthorn. If there are no waiting times, the ascent takes about 30 minutes. The ride up to the Schilthorn is also very popular with non-skiers, as a spectacular panorama of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau (Swiss Skyline) awaits.
From the Lauterbrunnen valley station, an aerial cableway leads to Grütschalp. From there, a narrow-gauge railway continues to the Winteregg chairlift into the ski area.
The ski area mainly features chairlifts. Some of the chairlifts have weather protection covers and are fast or detachable. Drag lifts and a funicular railway complement the offerings.
