The Schilthorn is the highest ski area in the Bernese Oberland. Cable cars from Stechelberg take you to the car-free village of Mürren and into the ski area. Another access point is located in Lauterbrunnen. The winter sports area near Winteregg can be reached by cable car and narrow-gauge railway. A snow-covered valley run leads back to Lauterbrunnen.

The ski area makes skiers’ hearts beat faster with its steep slopes, long runs, and cozy mountain huts. A network of modern lifts takes winter sports enthusiasts skiing and snowboarding all the way up to the Schilthorn (2,970 m). The large Skyline Snowpark excites freestylers. In addition to skiing, toboggan runs invite you to enjoy fast descents to Mürren. Peace and relaxation can be found on a network of winter hiking trails between Mürren and Lauterbrunnen, set against the breathtaking mountain backdrop of the winter sports area.

At the top of the Schilthorn, visitors are thrilled by the Skyline View panorama, the revolving restaurant, Bond World, and the 007 Walk of Fame. Schilthorn and Piz Gloria were filming locations for the Bond movie “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.”
