The Rauris ski resort is absolutely climate-friendly. With its own hydroelectric power plant, the Rauriser Hochalmbahnen produces the same amount of electricity needed to operate the lift and snowmaking systems. This gives the ski resort a zero energy balance. Free ski buses from neighboring towns are also promoted. Emissions are offset with climate certificates.
