Throughout the entire Rauris Valley, cross-country skiers will find everything they need. Away from mass tourism, they can enjoy their circuits in peace. The trails in the long valley within Austria’s Hohe Tauern National Park run at altitudes between 950 and 1,200 meters. The trails also pass directly by the Rauris ski area. A detour into the rear Hüttwinkltal to the Sonnenloipe in the alpine area is also very popular. A free cross-country ski bus operates in the area.
