The ski area of the Rauriser Hochalmbahnen is located in the Rauris Valley in the Salzburger Land region. Access to the Rauris Valley is only possible from the north via the town of Taxenbach. From there, a mountain road leads into the valley. Most guests arrive via the A10 Tauern motorway, taking the Bischofshofen/Knoten Pongau exit. Plenty of free parking is available directly at the base stations of the Kreuzbodenbahn and Hochalmbahn. The main entry point is the Hochalmbahn gondola.
